The beneficial road to health cycle event is a fundraising event for the following two charities:
The Beneficial Foundation in Porstmouth who help the disadvantaged in the Portsmouth area. People are helped in a variety of ways with the common thread being training. Giving someone self respect and hope are priceless commodities.

St. Margaret’s Hospice provides free specialist care for those living across the county with a life-limiting illness. When time is precious, two things become important to patients and their families: their quality of life and the enjoyment of the time that is left. St. Margaret’s strives to make this a reality through the range of services it provides.

The event will be commencing on Friday 24th September 2010, for 8 x days, finishing on Friday 1st October 2010.

Paul Waite of Aspen Waite will be arriving in Portsmouth on Day 6 (Wednesday 29th September) for approximately 12.30pm. This photo opportunity will be attending by the Lord Mayor of Portsmouth and hopefully the 2 x local MPs (to be confirmed). Paul Waite will be carrying out the entire ride, with possibly some people also taking part on various legs.
